Appearance:
Kuromi is an average height but is very slender. He likes to refer to himself as "a strange and complex mixture of bone and muscle." Even though he's very skinny, he's very toned and very strong for his weight. Kuromi's hair is thick and black, and although it's normally straight and kept down, messing with it will poof it into a mini curly fro. His face is considered attractive by most, although he doesn't normally smile, as it hurts his face and takes too much energy. His eyes are black and dull, showing no signs of life and absolute disinterest in the surrounding world. Almost as if he's constantly day dreaming. His normal choice of clothing is usually some sort of suit. He is also extremely fond of fedoras, as they remind him of The Blues Brothers, and has a collection of over 40 fedoras.

Personality: Kuromi is known for being extremely laid-back and lackadaisical. He just takes life as it comes. He never seems to truly be affected by bad things as he views life as a dream. He's not afraid of death as it's just an awakening from the dream. Really, the only time h's ever full of energy is if he's playing music, fighting, or defending something he loves. But for the most part, he's smooth and playful and can sometimes be very sarcastic, though he does it out of fun. At the end of the day however, he's very quiet and reserved, out of a growing feeling of loneliness. He won't talk much or laugh, he'll simply zone out.

Sexuality: Straight
He's not an extreme sexual deviant like other men. He prefers to take things slow and wait until it means something.

Preferences:
Kuromi can feel sexual attraction to any girl, but h only get's very turned on when he's passionately in love. He likes it to be dark, only lit by candles. Rough mad sex is barbaric in his eyes. He likes it be sensual and mean something.

Likes:

The dark: It gets scary at times. He loves darkness to the point that one might think he was an emo/goth or a Satanist. He's none of these however, he just feels comfortable around darker colors. He feels that darkness is like a warm blanket while light is painful and too overbearing.

Music: Kuromi is completely in love with music. He listens to and appreciated every single genre. Ranging from Jazz to classical, Rock to rap, and dubstep to ambience. He likes to compose music that blends many different styles together, creating a nice harmony. There is never a moment in his life that he's not involving himself in music, whether it be listening to it, playing it, humming it, or tapping a beat.

Dreams: Dreams are reality to him. Reality is just a dream.

Love: He's a sucker for romance. He's the kind of guy who cries while watching romance movies. It's always been his dream to find the perfect person for him to spend the rest of his life with. The kind of girl who can stand up for herself but still leans on him for support every now and then. A girl who appreciates music and art and will just lie down next to him and dream with him.

Reading & Writing: He loves words and imagining. He enjoys writing horror stories and poems, drawing inspiration from Poe. He's also tried his hand at some romantic fantasy after reading what would become his favorit nover, "The Count of Monte Cristo."

Fighting: He's very good at it. He started fighting as a means to express and move his body to music, as he's pretty terrible at dancing. Fighting just eases his body and all his stress.

Clouds and rain: They block the light, sound heavenly, and wash all the bad feelings away. Plus it's nice to fall asleep to. What more could Kuromi ask for?

Dislikes:

Light: It's annoying, overbearing and harsh.

Spiders: Forget everything you know about him when he sees a spider. He will do anything and everything in order to escape the spider, or kill it. If he can't accomplish either, he'll pass out.

Being alone: He's very afraid of loneliness. He can handle being alone for a couple of hours but he becomes very depressed if he hasn't had a nice conversation with someone all day. It's also on a romantic level, as his dream and main goal in life is to find the perfect girl, and fears not being able to find her. He tends to become very ill after a break-up.

Back story:

History:
Kuromi's childhood life was regular. His father had an honest job, his mother taught him piano. When he was 7 his sister Kouu was born and from the moment he saw her, he knew he'd do everything in his power to protect her. The two of them were always together as she grew up. He taught her everything he knew about life up until that point. When Kuromi turned 16 his house was broken into. His parents hid him and Kouu in the closet. Kuromi couldn't sit there in silence though and peered out. To his horror, he watched as two men unhinged their jaws and bit into his parent's necks, blood painting the walls.
This was Kuromi's first encounter with the supernatural. He found out that these men were a class called vampires, and were Incognito.
Kuromi spent the next years of his life training to become part of the T.A.P.T so he could help ensure that no one ever have to face the pain of losing a loved one to an untraceable killer. Despite being unauthorized to use force, Kuromi quickly earned the nickname Fon (Chinese for wind) because of his incredibly fast movements. Kuromi used force at any given time to list Supernaturals, whether they were dangerous or not. Even the ones who fought back against Kuromi were swept of their feet in an instance, finding their Supernatural powers easily flattened by his speed and reflexes. Many innocent Supernatural beings were outraged by this blatant discrimination. But the higher-ups of the T.A.P.T couldn't deny that he got the job done, and Kuromi usually got off the hook with minor consequences. He was happy at this time. He was making enough money to support him and Kouu and he felt a form of satisfaction at bullying these creatures. Like he was getting revenge for his parents.
Things changed when he met her. Her name was Haru. He met her at the bar and the two became close extremely fast. She was cute, funny, smart, yet very pale. She had explained to Kuromi that she had contracted a non-lethal, non-infectious disease, and he never suspected a thing. Eventually they were engaged. Kuromi had a new sense of satisfaction. He became less aggressive at work. He no longer held his fearsome nickname. But while going through the list one day, he found her name. Haru was Listed. She was a vampire. Kuromi passed out from a sudden panic attack and awoke in the hospital. He was stressed out. He hated supernatural creatures but he loved her. He didn't know what how he'd feel about her anymore. But when she showed up and he saw her face he knew. He knew it didn't matter to him. He loved her. He no longer hated Listed and Incognitos. They could feel and be kind. They could treat his little sister just as well as he did. So Kuromi retired from the T.A.P.T and becam a lowly waiter. He was happy.
But there still stood the countless number of creatures he had wronged. A group of them all decided to wreak revenge. Without even giving him a chance to say good-bye, they killed Haru. They stabbed Kouu in the back, leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. Kuromi looked at the blood shed they had left and remembered the sight of watching his parents killed. Only this time, he could track down their killers. He did so, and slowly and painfully, killed them all. He made sure their bodies were never found, and returned to life. It was at Haru's funeral that Kuromi started to feel a different way about life. His dreams were the only time he was ever happy. It was like his dreams were reality, and he was simply living in a dream.
