Another Day [Raiden]

⋆ just another dayIt had been a quiet day at Nishikaigan Hospital, and the night wasn't much different either. Most of the patience were all in bed snoozing away as the moon rose outside and the light it brought could be seen through the cracks of the windows. A low sound in the intercom played a soft melodic tune as it echoed through the hallways, yet in a quiet low manner. In the lobby, a female who stood about five foot four leaned against the foyer as she scribbled little notes down onto a clipboard. She wasn't at all dressed in scrubs or uniform, but a simple skinny jeans which fit perfectly and a nice casual dress shirt. She wasn't part of the staff in the hospital, but her duties had placed her in the area due to something she herself wasn't quiet sure of.
Still very much scribbling notes and things down on the clipboard she began to hum. It was an old song; a song her mother used to sing to her when she was a child. However, after a few brief moments her humming stopped and she looked up and smiled to a nurse as she handed the clipboard to him. This lady may not seem to be one despite her charmingly cute features, but she was in fact part of the Talent and Ability Placement Team, or better known as the T.A.P.T. She wasn't hardcore like her coworkers and superiors, but she did her job pretty well. Small as she might seem, she's quiet hardcore deep down, she just doesn't show it -- at all.

Irie had sustained some minor injuries over the past few nights of his suit putting pressure on his ankle from alot of the running and jumping he has to perform; it sometimes became a little much for a boy of his figure; he wasn't exactly the definition of a muscly super hero. Underneath his suit he was quite frail, easy to hurt; he didn't let that stop him from doing the right thing. But he really needed to get his ankle checked out, and possibly get some medicine for it. Walking past a sliding door he entered a somewhat bleak room full of a few people waiting to be called in for an appointment they probably have made. He stood out amongst the most of them, he wore a grey hoodie with a simple graphic on the back it read 'One Love Apparel' sporting a large cursive 'O' over the lettering, and underneath a plain t shirt; he wore skinny jeans that hugged his legs a little loosely as his legs were smaller than the pants; and a pair of tennis shoes. His most noticeable feature was probably his snow like hair, that fell over his face a little and jutted off the back of his head. He waited his turn in line, taking a look around the room; wondering why everyone had been here.

⋆ just another dayWith it being quiet, the hospital had been going slow as well. The patience who entered where always sent directly into care. So no wating was really necessary. In a few good minutes half the people in the waiting room had been assissted to little rooms at the back. Nothing much severe happening here since the people weren't injured unlike those in the Emergency Room. The Emergency Room hadn't seen a quiet day like this, so Fiera tried to stay out.
Fiera, the female with long slender body and a human in discuse stood at her post. Her true form was a Kojintora, a race who held their culture strongly, but most of all these people were cat-like. If one were to really look at her, one could see that she had cat-like ears at the crown of her head which she covered quiet perfectly with her hair. Fiera looked around seeing that most everyone in the room had been attended to; however one man seemed to be waiting in line. The last one. She wondered in curiosity as to why he had brought himself here; nonetheless, she figured she could at least try to get something out of him. Of course, being a part of the T.A.P.T you had to get your nose stuck up somewhere, and although Fiera was the least person to do that, she seemed as if she should at least try to do her duty. Everyone who came in to the hospital were placed into the system considering the hospital was part of the government affairs. One could say that Fiera hated the hospital, but it seemed the hospital loved her way too much. She always seemed to appear here quiet frequently.
After she finished chattering with the male nurse, Fiera swiftly turuned her body around to the attention of the waiting room. Not many people were there now, and only one was left. What caught Fiera's eyes was the young man; frail looking, but seemed to be just fine. So exactly what was he doing at the hospital at a time like this? Fiera questioned herself. Reaching behind her, she took another clipboard with two papers that were blank; she was ready to get to working. She walked over to the man and sat down at the empty seat beside him. She leaned back into her chair and took a deep breath then turned her head to face the man. "Hi there." With her gentle and soft voice, Fiera smiled at him. She was the type of person to greet any one, let alone come up to them without any oblivious reasons.

Irie was kinda just looking around when he was in line, he noticed a younger looking girl she was probably around his age he couldn't really tell from the distance, he caught out of the corner of his eye that she had been looking at him. He was wondering if she really was or not; and if so, why? He always let his mind wander when he began to think, it sometimes became annoying or just too much thoughts going on at once. And before he knew it, there was the girl, right there next to him.She said hello, so she was looking at him.
"Oh.. uhh hello!"
Irie stammered out after he allowed his thoughts to process, not really realizing what was going on around him. A little confused, people didn't usually just approach him like that. He crossed his arms, bruises could be seen up and down his body, he gained them from beatings that he took at night, or falls when he'd miss a ledge; for a hi tech cyborg suit, it couldn't help his clumsiness.
"Oh.. uhh hello!"

⋆ just another dayFrom the way he spoke he seemed to be a little hesitant. She wondered why because she wasn't the type of gal to jump on someone, especially her appearance. She was only five foot and four inches, far more shorter than he. People usually mistaken her as a fourteen year old, but in reality she was only twenty years old. Yes, her rank as an Investigator might have given her an edge, but that was practically the only thing that made people walk away from her. Another reason was possibly because she was part of the T.A.P.T association. People usually hid themselves from her and the T.A.P.T because they didn't want to be in the system. The Incognito's were good at hiding things like those, but this man was human. It also seemed that he was part machine as well which gave Fiera much more interest. Being the reason she sat down beside him.
With the warmest smile she could give and a little chuckle in between she couldn't help but to do so with the stammering he had made. "Now now, do I look like a mean person to you?" Questioning him as she raised a brow and smirked. Furthermore, she saw the bruises on his arm so that was probably the reason he was at the hospital. She pretended to scribble things down onto the blank paper, yet it was only chicken scratch but she hid it well. "Oh my it looks like you've been busy." She told him as she pointed to the bruises on his arm.

Irie didn't really have much confidence in speaking to others when he wasn't wearing his mask; he was actually a pretty timid boy. He put his left hand over his right wrist and gripped it slightly, it was just something he had done from time to time. He looked over at her, his hair falling into his face, he brushed it off the side rather quickly. "No, sorry it's not that." He muttered loud enough for her to hear, he took notice of her looking at his arms and then writing something down; wondering what it was.
"I guess you could say that, something like that." He said, when she mentioned his bruises; coming up with a number of excuses that he had rehearsed over time, for when people might ask him about them. "I do a lot of construction work actually, rough stuff.." He said with a sigh, he was a little tired from the lack of sleep he'd get. He always wondered what it would be like if he took off a week from his watch over the city, but he could never do it; his guilt and feeling of duty would consume him if he ever had.

⋆ just another dayLies. She knew he was lying. Fiera had been doing her job for so long that she could detect a lier within seconds. She let it slide; however, it was none of her business to be snooping around. He was a human and he didn't do much harm like most of the people who were already listed in the system. She felt a little tightness in her heart as she detected the truth about his bruises between the lies he had spoken. It was a little hard for her to see people down -- she was always the caring type, but her job kind of neglected that part of her.
She rose up from where she stood, placed the clipboard between her arms and placed a hand out for him. "Let's get you settled into a room then." She smiled warmly at him as she took back her hand and motioned a nurse to have him looked at.

Irie looked at her hand as she motioned to him, he wondered what she had in mind, and then said she was gonna take him to a room; the sooner the better he thought. He never really liked being in a hospital for too long, it always made him sorta depressed. He followed after her to the room that he'd be inspected in. He walked inside slowly, looking around the room; it was bleak and boring and he just looked around the room and looked at her, and sat down on the bench, or bed or whatever it was.
"So do I just get some medicine prescribed..?"
Irie wasn't really good with medical evaluations and his worst fear was always that a doctor would give him a physical, he didn't ever like being around this place. He sighed and moved his ankles back and forth, waiting patiently for the girls response. He crossed his arms and closed his eyes as he felt a big yawn coming up.

⋆ just another dayAs the nurse instructed the guy to follow her, she led him into a room. Fiera followed behind as the nurse led the guy to his waiting room. It was small with only two things hanging from the wall, a desk with a computer that showed scans and whatnot, and a sink and a towel dispenser. The room really needed decorating, but there was really no point in pointing it out because it wasn't in her place to do so.
She sat on the chair and turned to face the guy. First of all, she needed some basic info. "First your name, then your age, then your race, and address." She told him as she took the clipboard she had and began writing things down. What the guy didn't know was that she was an investigator for the T.A.P.T. She was the one who investigated most of the people who had been recently listed into the system. It was a tiring job, but she did it well. She looked at the guy and smiled, affirming that she wasn't trying to get his information to put in the system, but for medical reasons only.
