SHINE A LIGHT THROUGH THIS OPEN DOOR
The scent of buttery goodness wafted through the air and permeated her nostrils. Sitting in the corner adjacent to the entrance/exit door, Ary dug her fingers into the bucket of popcorn placed gently on her lap. There weren't many people in the theater, so only silence filled the room with the occasional coughing and sneezing of those surrounding her. This theater is rather quiet old, for it was built a good centuries ago. Till this day; however, the maintenance has kept the place preserved at its original form. What's remarkable and very diverse about this theater is that its specialty is silent films. These silent films tend to be black and white just like the good ole' days.

Ary, an angel in disguise, stared into the screen with eyes focused not missing any clip whatsoever. Silent films were one of Ary's guilty pleasures which she found quiet enjoyable and entertaining. You could say that Ary was old fashion, and she preferred it that way. She was a humble one, always following orders to the best of her abilities. You might could also guess that Ary doesn't really have friends. She sat in her seat silently with her eyes glued to the screen as she occasionally dug her fingers for some buttery popcorn and shoving them into her mouth with graceful movements. A light snigger and laugh escaped her nude-ish-pink lips from time to time.

Anyone wanna roleplay? Thought I would lighten the mood of the site a bit and start roleplaying again. Hahaha. I thought I'd give it a try. =P It's short, but fuckit! Deal with it! C;

Tetsuo was finally allowed to escape work. (usually he would 'leave', but today was especially laborious, so Tetsuo was looking forward to finally getting outside) He did so in a rather exuberant manner. He grabbed his backpack full of various snacks (his ever-lasting need to consume even affected his work), clocked out, and flung his apron into the air, which opened like a parachute and glided gently onto it's proper rack hook. Tetsuo was assigned the task of mopping the ramen shop he was recently invited to work at, which would be easy labor and pocket cash, but his jerk co-workers went out of their way to make spills and make Tetsuo's job tenfold more difficult; since they clearly couldn't defeat him in hand-to-hand combat, they took advantage of his sweet personality. When Tetsuo bowed goodbye to his elderly employer and exited the building, the city atmosphere hit him with relief and freedom. The first thing Tetsuo did when he got off work was wander the city blocks, both on the sidewalks and the rooftops. He dipped into a nearby alley, sprinting at the dead end, which brought him up the wall and over the building. Just for kicks, he did a back-flip before landing on both feet. The sky was surprisingly bright, despite the sun making it's finally descent to slumber below the horizon. The city was as it always was; the blaring of car horns and radios, the wafting scent of various delicacies, and the constant hustling and bustling of humans, both tourists and residents. Tetsuo was fresh out of ideas to entertain himself for the few hours he had before his roommate, Ayako, would call for him to come home. His curiosity lingered on an old fashioned building he somehow failed to notice on any of his other solo-excursions around Ōmoi Ame . Tetsuo descended down the side of the apartment he was currently standing on, before casually strolling out of the alley and across the street.
Upon entering the building he concluded was a theater, Tetsuo couldn't help but note the impressive maintenance of it, seeing as it couldn't be younger than a hundred years. Oddly, he couldn't hear the movie beyond the doors. No explosions, no dramatic symphonic music, no jarring noises at all. This struck Tetsuo as peculiar, so he walked into the theater and made his way to the corner of the seating. He slung his backpack off his shoulder and gently placed it on the space in front of his feet, before sitting to a woman who was intently staring at the screen, which Tetsuo also noticed was black and white. When he finally couldn't take it anymore, he turned to the woman and spoke softly, not wanting to startle her. "Excuse me, miss...is there something wrong with this movie? I can't hear anything, and I don't think it's just me."

Sorry Noir, I'm pretty new to the whole role playing thing. Please don't hate me, m'dear ;--;

Re: Silence Is Key {Deku & Connor}

The Arcadian Theater in Omoi Ame was one of those things you could truly call original. The beige concrete walls were cracked and weathered, with ivy embellishing the faults in the surface. The most noticeable thing on the exterior of this building, was the large stone lion's head, which stood imposingly over the entrance. The Arcadian Theater was supposedly a historical landmark, and was known for its vintage silent films. Although the building was famous and recognized architecturally, it wasn't as popular as the newer movie theaters, and usually didn't have a lot of business. However, the fact that it didn't have much activity didn't bother Connor. He enjoyed to watch the silent films without a large crowd, for large crowds often consisted of obnoxious drunk people. Here, he was able to watch the silent film in the company of more mature people.
Connor gnawed on the end of a strawberry Twizzler and absentmindedly fiddled with the drawstring of his hoodie, the corners of his eyes crinkling occasionally as he laughed. He actually preferred some silent films over more modern ones, due to how they are able to portray emotions and everyday life, and bring entertainment to its audience. It did all of that, without one critical factor: sound. Modern films were able to utilize that luxury, and they still didn't bring as much enjoyment to Connor as some of the silent films did. Therefore, Connor visited the Arcadian regularly.
He never really noticed whom he shared the theater with, but on this particular day, he thought he heard a familiar voice in the row behind him. If he wasn't mistaken, that sounded awfully similar to his very good friend Tetsuo. Tetsuo was notoriously for flirting with women, and from the sounds of it, he was sitting with a girl right now. Connor knew exactly what he had to do. He turned around in his seat swiftly and lo and behold, there was Tetsuo sitting with a girl. Connor smirked slightly before maintaining a straight face as he asked, "Excuse me sir, but would you kindly shut the fuck up?"

Well fuck me running, Linda. Tetsuo's first instinct was to grin and leap over everyone to hug one of his closest buds, but wanting to get the bastard back, he restrained himself from doing so at that moment. Instead, he dropped his jaw, pretending to be surprised, and in a mock-shock tone, Tetsuo gasped. "Goodness me, masseur Kenway. That is extremely rude, whatever brought about such a barbaric conniption?" Not having a clue what he was saying, Tetsuo finally laughed softly and puffed out a flume of smoke. "Connor, you sly bastard you, where have you been,mate?" Connor Kenway was a close friend to Tetsuo, them having met years ago. While the details eluded him, the gargoyle had always appreciated his friend, a guy to whom he could relate 'guy-stuff' with. If he remembered correctly, Connor's dad was a wealthy individual, Tetsuo having watched the Kenway yacht maneuver the waterways Tetsuo loathed so badly. He turned to his female company, bowed apologetically for possibly ruining her filming experience, and faced his pal once more. "Hey Conman, why the hell do people like these movies? There's no action, no explosions or kick ass theme music.. I just don't see what's so appealing?!" Tetsuo had a genuine interest and puzzlement as to why a silent movie was,well...silent. And who else to ask but his close friend, who somehow related and eventually befriended silly ole Tetsuo?

SHINE A LIGHT THROUGH THIS OPEN DOOR
Ary's lips were covered with a salty buttery taste as she quietly continued eating her popcorn. The film had come to its rising plot line which brought Ary to the edge of her seat. However, within matters of a split second a shadow of a man coming from the exit/entrance way caught her eye. Her eyes shifted from the wide screen to the man who now seemed to make himself comfortable to the once empty seat beside her. She paid no mind as she tried to focus her mind back to the screen, but in an instant that too seemed to fail. The man's shoulder now slightly toughing hers felt rather unpleasant to her liking. Then when things couldn't go any worse, a low whisper of words rang in her ears, "Excuse me, miss...is there something wrong with this movie? I can't hear anything, and I don't think it's just me." This slightly bothered her, but knowing Ary when it came to situations like this she kept her mouth shut. She didn’t want to disrupt others in the room as they enjoyed their movie.

Luckily for Ary, she was saved by a man who spoke for her. "Excuse me sir, but would you kindly shut the fuck up?" Then in return the man replied back, "Goodness me, masseur Kenway. That is extremely rude, whatever brought about such a barbaric conniption?" This little display intrigued Ary with the slightest of entertainment, but she wasn't here to listen to others endlessly exchange words at a place like this. No, she didn't have this in mind or in her agenda. She was here to enjoy one of her favorite pass time, but now it seemed as if she couldn't any more. A few minutes passed, and it seemed that the man who sat beside her couldn't keep his mouth shut which caused Ary a little irritated. Her brows furrowed displeased with this little charade of display.

"If you both don't mind could you please take this outside, or maybe do us all a favor and both of you be silent until the movie ends?", she asked as nicely as she could.
