Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Kaminari Saito Thu Mar 21, 2013 6:39 pm

The clock was striking 3 A.M. and Kaminari was out wandering the streets on her own, listening to the dead quiet and the change jiggling in her pocket. The wind was picking up, causing her to pull her jacket closer. To avoid being seen by anyone she knew--which is no one, really--she had taken the back roads, and as it turns out, there were more pedestrians on this route than any other. A drunken teenager, from the Higashikaigan Beach, had stopped to say a few inappropriate words to Kaminari. After trying to get in her pants, which is hopeless, she flicked him off and walked away. She had no place to stay, since she just moved here, and no money. Pulling her hair into a messy ponytail, she finally came upon the place she had meant to run into the whole time. She had heard rumors of the Higashikaigan Boating Docks, of drug deals, bad people, and a lot of crime. It was the perfect place for Kaminari to get a few bucks.
When she reached the Docks, it was obvious that some rich people live in this town. She silently walked down one dock, searching for anyone that may get her in trouble and for anyone who could help her out. After it was clear that no one was around, she slipped inside a particularly big yacht, on the deck, and found the nearest door. Knowing that some people sleep inside occasionally, she stood on her tip-toes and looked through the half-circle glass window. Inside the doorway was a ballroom, a tiny one at that. There were many tables set up, decorated with vases and lilies, roses, and tulips. The lights were dim and there was a piano in the far right corner. A dining table was set up with an array of foods, strawberries, a chocolate fountain, sliced up bananas, strawberry shortcake, a big frosted cake, many canned beers (the fancy kind), and other foods. There was a stage in the center, and a chest in the right corner. A bathroom was located in the center-right. The whole room was square, and the flooring was all marble.
Kaminari had seen enough. Checking for security cameras, she pulled out a bobby pin from her back right pocket. She kneeled down and stuck her bobby in there, taking aprox. ten seconds to unlock the door. She was half expecting some alarm to go off, but apparently the yacht wasn't as good as it seemed so. She walked in, heading straight for the food. She didn't eat, but she grabbed a 'fancy' beer and cracked it open, going and sitting next to the piano. It was slick and all white, a very expensive piece. After playing a few tunes, she got into it and got comfortable. She started playing a slow, soft melody, nodded her head along to it. She was quite good, to be honest, and she knew it, too. After stopping every once and awhile, she took a few sips from her bottle and continued playing. She could sit there for hours, if she had time, which she did. So she went on playing, but it was the same melody. Every time her fingers hit the keys, she would feel less tired, like a weight was lifted from her shoulders. She didn't really think anyone would find her, and she hardly cared either.

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Connor Kenway Thu Mar 21, 2013 11:23 pm

Typically, this was not Connor's ideal place to be. On a regular night such as this, Connor prefered to be passed out in the comfort of his bed while his fan oscilated hummed in the background. Yet here he was, the docks. This place was full of crime and drug-dealing; usually the types of things Connor tried to keep himself out of lately. Sure, he used to get into trouble when he was in his younger, rebel stage, but he had always managed not to dig himself too deep. The place was crawling with druggies, drunks, and people teetering on the hazy line of insanity. As a matter of fact, as Connor strolled the streets with his hood up, people had shouted out to him, some of them threatening to start fights while others merely sang a drunken song. And he was here all because of his posh father, who was a big time lawyer in Omoi Ame. He had banged on Connor's apartment door about half an hour ago, apparently with the most urgent news ever. Connor had freaked out; for he was not used to his father being this way. Connor feared something was very wrong.
Apparently, his father had just celebrated winning a big case by throwing a party on his yacht. Connor had rolled his eyes initially--it was all too characteristic of his father to brag with arrogance. Then, his father announced he had forgotten his briefcase on the yacht but was too goddamn lazy--or, as Haytham said it, he was too important--to retrieve such trivial things. Therefore, Connor had been bestowed with the marvelous task of getting this ever-so-important briefcase back.
So here he was. Connor's hair was disheveled slightly and sticking out of his ponytail, and his hoodie and jeans were wrinkled. Obviously, he didn't want to be here initially, but now that he had arrived, he felt something else gravitating him to the docks. It was a strange sensation, for there was something mysteriously alluring about the creaky boardwalk and sketchy alleyways. Connor's breath created little clouds in the chilly weather, and the crisp temperature felt refreshing on his face. Eventually he had approached the yacht that belonged to his father. Stepping aboard it quickly, he rounded the deck until he came to the back door. Connor was about to unlock the door when he strained his ears and was immediately bewildered. The sound of a soft piano was emanating from the room, but he brushed it off and dismissed it as a song playing on speakers. Connor went to put the keys into the lock of the door when he realized it was already unlocked. He furrowed his brow, but quietly opened the polished door anyways.
Immediately the sound of the piano was amplified, yet it was still soft and melodic. Connor's breath caught in his throat as he realized he wasn't alone. His attention turned towards a grand white piano, where a girl sat there gracefully, her long blonde hair falling softly over her shoulder. Her fingers danced over the keys with great skill, obviously from years of practice. It created a soft and mezmerizing lullaby, and Connor had to shake his head a moment to get a grasp on the situation: a random person was in his father's yacht at 3 A.M. At this point, Connor was no longer tired, but he was very much confused, so he blurted the first thing that came to mind--"Uhm, not to be rude, but who the fuck are you?" His voice came out a little more harsh than he intended, but his expression clearly displayed his confusion.

Kaminari jumps up immediately, startled. Her face turns beat red, but she keeps her voice calm. "I was strolling by, and this looked like a fine place to rest my body for a minute--you see?" She extracted herself from the piano seat, walked over to the dining table, grabbed a strawberry, dipped it in chocolate from the flowing fountain, and smiled. She took a cig out of her pocket and sparked up, inhaling and blowing the smoke in the air. She flicked the ashes on the floor and spread them around with her foot so they weren't that visible. "What's your name again? I didn't catch it while you were rudely interrupting my music." Kaminari batted her eyes, smiling slightly. She took another hit of her cig and gracefully passed the room to his side, extending her hand for him to shake. "I'm Kaminari."

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

At first, Connor smirked inwardly as her face heated up in embarrassment. However, his feeling of accomplishment was short-lived because of her following words and actions. Connor was incredulous at her behavior. She had played it off so casually, as if this was a perfectly acceptable thing for her to do on a regular basis. Not only that, but she acted like she owned the place--with confidence, too. This girl had plucked a ripe strawberry from a bowl, and dipped it in chocolate before lighting up a cigarette and blowing gentle plumes of smoke into the room. Connor hardly moved a muscle as her petite form gracefully crossed the floor, and he was unsure of what she was going to do. However, when she extended her hand and offered her name, he let out a breath he didn't know he had been holding. Reaching up, he pulled the hood off his head before taking her tiny hand in his slightly calloused one, shaking it slowly. "Connor. Connor Kenway." He had no idea why he had even given her his name other than the fact she had already said hers. Connor shuffled his feet on the ground for a moment before looking again at the girls face. "Do you usually do this? Break into rich yachts and then play some sort of lullaby on a piano? If this is a regular activity for you, you must be pretty fucking crazy, because I can honestly say I have never met anyone to do that yet. And I feel like I should be somewhat mad at you for entering this yacht and taking our booze and fruits, but oddly enough, I'm not." He added the last line somewhat to himself, as if he were speaking his thoughts. He glanced at the girls cigarette and swiftly crossed the room to where a small cabinet was located. He pulled out a marble ashtray and set it on the table for her, before he picked up a piece of honey glazed pineapple and popped it into his mouth, savoring the way the sweet, tangy flavors overwhelmed his tastebuds.

She giggled slightly, blowing an 'O' with cigarette smoke. "No, I usually only break into yachts, play the piano, smoke a cig, but no strawberries. This just happens to be your lucky day. You caught me in the act of something horribly illegal, stealing strawberries." She flicked the ashes in the tray, unwillingly, for she had considered flicking the ashes on the floor again, just to get a rise out of him. She pulled a chair from one of the decorated tables, sliding it across the room to the piano. The noise of the piano legs against the floor was piercing, but she didn't even flinch. She gestured to the empty white chair and said simply, "Sit." She sat next to the chair, but on the piano seat. Taking another puff of her cig, she put it in her mouth to free her hands and started playing a graceful piece by memory. She concentrated very hard, licking her lips and not blinking. She moved an out of place hair and looked up at him and tilted her head.

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Connor Kenway Fri Mar 22, 2013 1:20 am

Connor watched as she blew delicated smoke rings into the air that dissipated into nothingness. As she talked about the strawberries, he chuckled softly and shook his head. "Wow, I feel so special now to have witnessed that." He sarcastically remarked. Connor's lip twitched as he refrained from smiling as she, somewhat hesitantly, flicked the ashes onto the ashtray. He watched in bewilderment as she then took a chair and dragged it to the piano, making a shrill screeching noise all the way. Connor cringed and a shiver ran down his spine at the god-awful noise, but he just followed her. As they came to a stop, he mumbled, "Ya could've just asked me to pick it up, you know." Kaminari proceeded to order him to sit, and he shot her an amused look before situating himself in the chair, propping his elbows on his knees and folding his hands together. Kaminari sat down and began skillfully pressing the keys, and it formed a melodic piece that calmed him slightly. Her cigarette was propped delicately between her lips, and her face was one of concentration, but it wasn't contorted so. Connor nodded and smiled at her when she looked at him. "You're really good, you know. How long ha-" Connor stopped talking abruptly as he heard voices outside the yacht room and straightened up immediately.
He looked at Kaminari in confusion, but his jaw dropped when he heard the noise of a reporting radio. It had to be the police. "We need to get the fuck out of here!" He hissed. Even though this was his dad's yacht, the cops probably wouldn't listen to him, and he'd get pressed with charges anyways. Connor's eyes scanned the room strategically as he formulated ways to get out. They could always go out the door, but they would most likely run into the cops that way. His eyes fell on a window that overlooked the sea, but led to the side of the deck, and he pointed to it. "Come on, we gotta go!" Connor immediately walked over to the window and slid it upwards, praying it didn't screech from salt corrosion. Luck must have been on their side, for it opened easily without a sound. Looking back at Kaminari, he beckoned her with his hand.

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Kaminari Saito Fri Mar 22, 2013 2:00 am

They fled through the window, Kaminari having to force herself out it. She had grabbed a few beers and hid them in her jacket in a matter of ten seconds, when Connor's back was turned, and was out. Unfortunately for her, the cops were already waiting. She dropped down as they neared closer, and she got on the edge of the boat and jumped. The first thing she felt was cold. Impact hurt, due to all the weight she was carrying. Her jacket alone weighed five pounds, at the least, cause she carries so much shit in it. She sank at first, but pushed her self to the top, half-expecting the cops to have jumped in after her. She slowly rose her eyes and mouth above the water, in case they were still looking for her. She swam towards the dock, painfully aware of any creatures stirring in the deep waters below her. She reached the dock closest to her, and before getting out, listening for the sound of any footsteps or voices. She waited ten seconds and then pushed herself out, onto the dock, and sat there. She wrung her hair out, brushing it out with her fingers and scrunching it quickly. Her hair looks best wet. Now her makeup on the other hand...eh, not so good. She could feel her eyeliner and mascara melted down her face, and she did the best to wipe it off to avoid looking like a raccoon. She reached in her secret pocket in her jacket for her cigs, which she just recalled were with her when she jumped."FUCK." She whispered loudly, throwing the pack in the sea. She stood, taking off her boots and holding them upside down, letting the water drip out of them before putting them back on. She pranced off to find Connor, listening closely for his voice. The only thing she heard was two deep voices, talking low and mumbling. She hid behind a pile of crates stacked up next to a pole and tried to hear them as well as she could. "I have it on me." One guy said, and Kaminari peered over the side to see his faint outline in the shadow of the dock lights. "How much? The other guy asked, reaching in his pocket and bringing out a small bag of something un-recognizable in the light. "Enough to support your family for a month." The first guy replied, talking fast. "How long till the dealer and his boys get here?" She sighed, there it goes. "An hour." Kaminari knew what she had to do, find Connor, and get whatever those guys had and split.

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Connor Kenway Fri Mar 22, 2013 2:17 am

Connor waited for Kaminari to jump out and hear the splash of water before glancing at the room behind him. Wasn't there a reason he was sent here in the first place? Ah, well, fuck it, he thought as the doorknob across the room began jiggling. Connor quickly fled through the window, and did a mini swan dive into the water. The freezing depths chilled him to the bone, but it just invigorated Connor with its abrupt temperature. Adrenaline pumped through his veins and he swam to the surface swiftly, breaking for air quietly and inhaling the fresh oxygen. The saltwater slightly stung his eyes, but he paid no mind to that as he began to swim in the direction of the Docks. He came upon a dock with a diving ladder on it, and he seized the chilled metal rungs. Ignoring the shivering sensation he felt sweep down his spine, he crawled out swiftly and hauled himself onto the boardwalk before taking off his hoodie and wringing it out. Connor rubbed his hands together for friction, and blew into them for warmth. Connor's eyes adjusted to the dimly lit atmosphere as he began looking for Kaminari. Removing his hands from his mouth, he whispered some-what loudly into the air, "Kaminari? Where are you?" Connor looked back to the yacht, where he saw the policemen had entered they room that they had previously fled from. Connor's eyes scanned the area, and he saw two sketchy guys murmuring about something suspiciously. Instinctively, Connor hid himself from view behind an industrial seafood freezer.

Post by Kaminari Saito Fri Mar 22, 2013 2:36 am

Kaminari, hearing her name being spoken quite loudly, shushed Conner, and tried to listen for more plans, but the guys had realized if their prescence. She came out of her hiding spot, cursing loudly at Connor, whom she couldnt find still. "Damn you I almost had the rest of their plans, if you hadn't ruined it!" She talked to nothing, which was better, cause if he was showing himself at that moment, she would sock him in the eye. "Hear that? Easy cash, and I need an apartment." Shee smiled, waiting for him to show himself.

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Connor Kenway Fri Mar 22, 2013 2:58 am

Connor chuckled softly as he saw her circling on the spot and talking to nothing, but he stopped laughing when he remembered he had done the same thing just a few moments ago. After a few moments, Connor stood up and walked out to her, scowling in disgust as he flicked a water beetle off of his shoulder. Connor looked at her with a slightly confused expression and narrowed his eyes slightly in suspicion. "And what is it exactly you intend to do?" Glancing between the men and the soaking girl in front of him, he was curious as to what her actions were meant to be. Connor cocked his head and looked at Kaminari before sighing, knowing the inevitable was coming. He didn't want her to get into considerable amount of trouble for whatever she was about to do, so he said, "Do you not have any place to stay at all?"

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Kaminari Saito Sat Mar 23, 2013 2:10 am

Kaminari advanced forwards, propping her on one of the more stable wooden crates and leaning against it with all her weight. The crate was marked 'FRAGILE' in colossal, prominent, burgundy letters and she felt wary. She had an evil grin on her face, beaming brightly from cheek to cheek, her pearly white teeth glistening in the moonlight. Her hair was drying moderately around her face in tight waves, the white-blonde hair spiraling down her back against her jacket. Kaminari's jacket was less soaked than any other piece of clothing on her, so she clung to it like a puppy. She shivered slightly but quickly sucked it up and grew a pair, shuffling around the edge of the dock, holding onto the brown poles sticking up out of the ground for dear life, back to the spot where she had witnessed the men conversing. She heard Connor inquire something, but it all came out in mumbles as she tried to detect the men's hushed voices. She exhaled loudly, not at all trying to mask her annoyance towards Connor for interrupting her maybe only chance to get money. She tuned into what he was saying for a second and only one question got through. "Do you not have any place to stay at all?" She glanced at his lips as he spoke studying how different he mouthed words than other people. She giggled to herself at her immaturity and suddenly returned serious. "Do you honestly think I'd be doing this at three-thirty in the morning if I had a nice cozy bed to snooze in?" She grunted, sitting criss-cross on a particularly weak-looking crate. "Got a cig?"Kaminari popped the question, already knowing his answer. She sighed in disgust, for she was really craving one at the moment. If it was lighter outside, broad daylight, she'd bum one off of a sailor, but the only people around to ask now were either potentially dangerous or didn't smoke. "We need to find those guys, and get whatever they have before someone else gets their greedy little paws on it." She licked her lips, engrossed in thinking of a plan that would work. The dock lights flicked on and off restlessly as Kaminari contemplated ideas through her mind. "Thats it! We'll need a match and a cigarette. This girl has a plan."

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Connor Kenway Sat Mar 23, 2013 2:44 am

Connor sat himself criss cross on the boardwalk as Kaminari made herself comfortable against the planked boxes. Kaminari held a grin that unsettled Connor greatly; it held a mysterious undertone of mischievous and suspicion. He watched as she clutched her jacket tightly around her body, but she seemed to quickly surpress any shivers. Connor then proceeded to look down at his own attire and sighed. His jeans were heavy and uncomfortable, and his shirt stuck to his skin, but he didn't complain. At least they weren't busted by the cops. Connor was slightly irritated with how she ignored his first question, but he busied himself by idly tracing the wooden grooves in the planks with his fingertips. When he inquired if she had any place to stay, her attention riveted back to him and she giggled slightly before deadpanning seriously. Connor grimaced at her abrupt change in mood, but the words in her retort rang true and he decided to let it go.
"Got a cig?" Connor shook his head lightly, and replied, "I don't smoke." Connor faced the two men a little ways from them as Kaminari brought them up again. He chewed his bottom lip as he could only guess what she had been thinking at the moment. Recognition sparked in Kaminaris' eyes as a plan formulated in her mind. "Thats it! We'll need a match and a cigarette. This girl has a plan." In all honesty, Connor was slightly intimidated by whatever plan Kaminari had conjured. In the little time that he had known her, she had proven to be full of surprises, and he didn't doubt that whatever she had thought of would shock him slightly. Using his hands to push himself into a standing position, Connor looked at Kaminari. "I can handle a lot of shit, but...Just try not to get us killed."

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Kaminari Saito Sat Mar 23, 2013 3:19 am

Kaminari arose, springing up out of her comfortable position. "I can handle a lot of shit, but... Just try not to get us killed." She was aghast by the fact that he thought she was irresponsible and non-intelligent enough to risk their lives on something so dumb-witted as stealing from a couple losers, which was inevitable anyways, either way, she was getting cash tonight, she intended on it. She pranced to Connor, facing him head on, or shoulder on, because she was so tiny compared to him. She wasn't irritated, for she knew that he was just joking, or so she hoped. She glanced up at him, her eyes gleaming and sparkling, a quick sign that she was about to get in a sticky and dangerous situation. She grabbed his wrist, not saying anything, and dragged him along side her while she ran. She was quick on her feet because she was so short and weighed a slim one-hundred and ten pounds, but he was quicker. He had longer legs and better stamina, both things she lacked. She was strong hearted, but even against herself, she had to stop every five minutes to catch her breath. She had long by now let go of his wrist, and she was now tugging at her black gloves, tightening and un-tightening them meticulously. They had been running for the past fifteen minutes, trying their hardest to catch up to the men. "How far ahead can they be?!" She panted, wiping a drop of sweat from her forehead. She considered looking for cigs, but in the area that they were in, she doubted they would find any. Surrounding them was a few sea-cottages, built above the water for pleasure, usually great summer homes. The dock on which they were running on was sturdy oak-wood, and the salty water could be seen easily from the sides. The sea-cottages required a boat to access, so that was out of the question. She peered around, father, and spotted a small square box at the edge of the dock, on the far right end. She skipped towards it, bending over and picking it up quickly, and in her hand was a pack of cigs, her favorite kind too. Just her luck. She looked inside, and tucked in the left corner was a mini match-box. She ran back to Connor and hugged him, excited to be in luck today. She catch herself fast enough though, for hugging was off-limits to strangers. She just met him. She looked down, ashamed. "I'm so sorry, how rude of me." She stepped back with her right boot and then her left. She turned away, her face beet-red. She called over her shoulder, "Hurry up, slowpoke. Let's roll."

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Connor Kenway Sat Mar 23, 2013 4:04 am

Connor couldn't help but smirk in satisfaction as her face momentarily held a shocked expression due to his words. For some nondescript reason, he seemed to enjoy getting the occasional rise out of her to see how she would react. Kaminari swiftly made her way to Connor, and he chuckled lightly at the drastic height difference as he towered over her. This didn't seem to faze her, though, for she wore a mischievous smirk and grabbed his wrist. Without any words, she pulled him with her and they began running, her platinum blonde hair billowing out behind her like a silky curtain. Connor was fit, and so it was relatively easy to keep up with her. Not only that, but, for every three steps Kaminari took, he had taken one, due to his long legs and stride. The damp clothes acted as a weight on Connor, but he paid no mind to that as they kept running. They would stop occasionally to catch their breaths, and Connor would fiddle with the zipper of his hoodie distractly. He noticed he wasn't alone in his fidgeting acts; he glanced down to see that Kaminari was messing with her gloves periodically. Even though they had been persuing the men for a good fifteen minutes now, they were no where in sight. From his right side, he heard Kaminari question their targets' location, and he wished he could answer it. He desperately wanted to know what the hell she was up to.
Connor pushed the sleeves of his hoodies up just below his elbows. Wiping his brow with the back of his hand, he watched as she surveyed the area around them, and followed suit. The moon had disappeared from the sky due to clouds obscuring it from view, and the air around them was eerily silent, save for a creak of the boardwalk or other insignificant background noise. The stark ocean underneath the boardwalk swelled ominously as Kaminari skipped over to a corner of the durable structure. She bended over slightly before retrieving an object on the wooden planks. As Kaminari turned slightly, Connor could see her face was written with glee as she discovered her ideal brand of cigarettes. Kaminari quickly ran up to Connor and hugged him, and initially he was in shock, so he was rigid for a second or two. When he processed what was happening, though, he wrapped a strong arm around her small waist and returned the hug. As soon as it happened, though, it was over. Kaminari studied her feet and commented about how she was rude before turning away with a flushed face.
"Hurry up, slowpoke. Let's roll." Connor scoffed slightly with sarcasm as she said this. "Me? Slowpoke? Alright then, " Connor began shuffling up to her with tortuously slow movements, drawing out and exaggerating every little action. He grinned at her before resuming to a normal pace along her side. "Do you have any idea where those men may have gone? Or are we chasing a lost cause? Because if this doesn't work out and you don't have a place, my door is always open. My place is usually the place people usually crash if they're drunk anyways." He spoke indifferently about the matter, and it was true; he was used to having people over his house at the wee hours of night, just seeking a sofa to crash on. This instance would seem no different.

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

"Do you have any idea where those men may have gone? Or are we chasing a lost cause? Because if this doesn't work out and you don't have a place, my door is always open. My place is usually the place people usually crash if they're drunk anyways."She heard the words, but all she could process in her mind was her plan. She knew exactly where they were heading, it was obvious to her, couldn't he guess? She raised an eyebrow at him in response, and sparked up a cig. The smoke building in her lungs and exhaling through the air brought her a sense of relief and she felt less stressed. She was too exhausted physically to speak, she she shrugged and took a puff. She continued walking in quick strides, not turning around to see if he followed. Her clothes were beginning to feel dry against her goose-bumped skin, and she felt relief. Keeping the stogie in her mouth, she reached to the back-inside of her leather jacket and pulled out a switchblade, just in case. She glanced over her shoulder to make sure he hadn't seen, he might get worried. Kaminari always came prepared. Except, ya know..with money, plans, cigs...But seriously. Always. She played with the cigarette between her pointer finger and middle finger on her right hand, flicking the ashes on the wooden planks on the dock and walking briskly. She crossed her tiny arms across her chest in an effort to warm herself up, and kept puff-puff-puffing her cigarette, the only light source within the next mile. They were coming close to the destination, which was large wooden boat, handmade, with the cursive letters 'P.T' on the side in white paint. The boat was around the side of the yacht earlier, but in worse shape. You could see in the little moonlight there was that the boat wasn't going to hold up for the next few years. Maybe two at most. Kaminari turned towards him, when they got within earshot of the boat. "Here we are. A drug dealers paradise. Be quiet, only talk when you need to. Speak with your hands and eyes, not with your mouth." She demanded, taking her last hit from her cig and throwing it in the water. She bit her lip and thought. "They plan is to get in, find the stash and whatever else we can recover, and get out. But you never know what may happen, so I have a Plan B."She closed her eyes, imagining the situation. "If you run into anyone--anyone at all--you whistle once. It may sound silly, but the wind will carry the sound threw the boat, including the inside. You can either choose to stand and fight, or run. If you flee, meet me back at this spot, but stay on the down-low. Deal? Just find the stash, and when you do,whistle and get out, deal?"She felt demanding and bossy, but hey, this could be a life or death situation, they can't afford any mistakes. She smirked, hoping to encourage him to go along with it, but if she had too, she'd go in there alone, she might not make it back out though. It was all up to Connor's decision.

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Connor Kenway Sat Mar 23, 2013 2:25 pm

Connor merely stared at her back incredulously as she walked away with the cigarette perched between her fingers. He had honestly never met a girl as fucking crazy as Kaminari. Crazy, spontaneous, it all meant the same thing. One thing, Connor knew for sure, was that he might not meet another girl like this in a while, so he'd decided to follow after her. After a moment Connor's feet decided to move, and he put on a straight face as he strode up behind her. Stuffing his hands in the pocket of his hoodie, he just looked straight ahead to a boat in poor condition. The soft moonlight provided enough just for Connor to pick out the grimy details of the vessel. He cringed slightly at the sight of the battered, peeling hull; it looked like it could sink any day. Kaminari then turned to him and explained her plan with a strong voice. Connor crossed his arms and held his chin up high, and raised his eyebrows at her explanation of the fight-or-flight scenario. Connor breathed deeply before pinching the bridge of his nose, and contemplating his options. He could just turn around and go home, and succumb to the lurering arms of sleep, but Connor wasn't about to do that. Of course he wasn't going to leave her alone; she was a tiny, and could be easily overpowered by either of the men they saw eariler. He didn't care if she thought she was strong; the truth of the matter was that through sheer size and power, Kaminari could easily be in a bad situation. She was playing a dangerous game, and he wasn't about to let her fend for herself, even if he was just playing as a pawn. Connor nodded in acceptance to her proposal. Rolling his broad shoulders once, he mentally prepared himself for what he was about to do.
Connor walked over to the boat on the balls of his feet, his steps light to avoid any creaking planks. Every so now and then he ducked behind a crate and strained his ears to see if he could hear any noises, but so far, so good. When he approached the boat he carefully ascended on a rusty ladder, praying that it wouldn't give out, or give him tetanus. When he reached the top of the hull, he let his eyes scan the deck a moment to be clear that it was abandoned. Hopping on the deck, he soon came to a door that lead into a small, dingy room. Lucking, the doorknob itself was broken, so he didn't have to attempt picking the lock. Entering the room, he scrunched his nose and almost coughed at the putrid smell. Covering his nose with his forearn, he let his eyes adjust to the darkness of the room, and soon got to work. There were piles of fish netting, buckets, and other fishing gear strewn about precariously, and Connor had to make sure he wouldn't knock anything over. Connor got on his knees and searched through the gear, checking inside tackleboxes and the tangles of the fish netting. Eventually, his eyes settled on an industrial crate in the corner. Connor walked over to it and lifted off the covering, revealing a small duffel bag. Connor smirked to himself, and licked his lips, preparing for a whistle. However, that whistle wasn't produced, for a strong arm encased itself over Connor's neck and squeezed harshly.
His air supply was abruptly cut off, and he forcefully jammed his elbow into the gut of his offender. He heard a low grunt behind him, and the arm around his weakened enough for Connor to break out of the hold. Connor somersaulted onto the ground and away from his opponent, swiftly turning and rolling into a crouching position, poised to fight. His experiences in fight clubs as a teenager kicked in, and he grinned despite the situation. Adrenaline was kicking in now, fueling him and sharpening his senses. Connor studied his opponent. He was a tall, bald guy, with a strong build and hulking form. Connor made note of the way he readied himself for a fight; the man merely bent his knees slightly and flexed his arms. This guy was a heavy hitter, so he would be slower. The key to getting out here alive, was to be swift and use his speed to overwhelm his enemy. Connor then cleared his throat and let out a flat whistle, signaling that he had encountered someone. The man before him narrowed his eyes before making a lunge at Connor with a grunt. Connor rolled out of the way and swiped at the back of the man's knees, causing him to buckle to the ground with a sound. Connor cracked his neck as the man stood back up, pure rage filling up the entirety of his eyes. The guy was pissed, and rushed at Connor. Connor ducked, and his fist met with the bottom of the man's jaw. The guy quickly recovered, though, and his large fist connected with Connor's lip, causing Connor to stumble back from the force. Connor reached up and felt his lip; it was busted. He soon felt the familiar, metallic taste of blood in his mouth, and he spit it out on the man's shoes. "That was nice, like a tickle. Can I have another?" That was pure bullshit; the punch hurt like a bitch. However, Connor's strategy of mocking worked as the man grew furious and sloppy in his fighting strategy. After of few minutes of Connor dodging his blows, the behemoth of a man seemed fed up and reached in his pocket, pulling out a knife. Connor sneered, "Well that's not exactly fair, now, is it?" The man firously swiped at Connor's stomach, but Connor scooted backwards just in time. Connor backed into a bucket, and was momentarily distracted, but that was enough; the man's knife grazed his left arm and left a four inch cut. Blood seeped into his hoodie, and Connor grunted. The pain was muted, due to the adrenaline pounding furiously in his veins, but that didn't erase the overall feeling. Connor snarled and sidestepped into a more open portion of the room, so no more instances such as that would happen. Connor threw a pipe towards the man's direction to distract him, and it worked; the man's eye followed the pipe as it clanged against the floor. Connor seized the opportunity, and grabbed the man's wrist before slamming his fist into the outside of his elbow. This action caused the man's hands to open and drop the knife, as well as his elbow to bend in a way that wasn't supposed to be possible. The bald man screamed in pain, his face red, and Connor swooped up the pipe and hit the man in the back of the head. He only did it just forcefully enough to knock him out; Connor wasn't the type for killing.
Connor panted heavily before spitting once again on the man's unconcious body, smirking and laughing lightly at his victory. It had been a while since he had been in a fight, and it was exhilarating. Connor slung the duffle bag over his right shoulder and made his way back out to the ladder. He descended lazily, for the adrenaline had worn off slightly and he could feel his injuries. He grimaced as his arm throbbed, but he nontheless made his way over to Kaminari and dropped the duffel bag before sinking against a crate. Connor lifted up his arm in victory, before letting it drop ungracefully to his side.

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Kaminari Saito Sun Mar 24, 2013 12:12 am

After Connor had departed to hunt down the merchandise, Kaminari gathered herself and inhaled deeply. She wasn't worried, for if she desperately needed, she had a secret weapon. It wasn't the switchblade in her left jacket pocket, it was her ancestors cherished song, passed down from generation to generation and finally settling with Kaminari. It was an effortless way to kill someone, or damage them in more ways than one. She hoped that it wouldn't result in that, but it was immensely difficult to tell this early into the plan. She gracefully lurched herself over the side of the rickety boat, landing noiselessly and nimbly on the wooden deck. She focused all of her energy on keeping her steps dainty and feathery so any inhabitants below deck wouldn't realize that she was there and give out her position. She made her way through the straight hallway, passing several white doors along the way. No lights shown through the the bottom of the doors, so she assumed that the people inside--if there were any--were asleep. Kaminari looked to the right side of her, out at the sea. Waves crashed all around the boat, making loud clashing noises and startling her for a second. The moonlight practically bounced off of the brackish water and it was all quite lovely. She turned around instantaneously at the sound of a footstep, and she was face to face with possibly the largest man she had ever set her eyes on. Her breath caught in her throat and she took a hesitant step backwards. "WHAT YOU DOING ON MY BOSSES BOAT? THIS HIS BOAT." He exclaimed, spitting in her eye. She was already ticked off by his horrible wording, clearly he wasn't that bright, but no one spit in her eye. His big structure made up for his lack of intelligence though, in many ways. He was three or four feet taller than her, for if she looked straight forwards without looking up, his belly button was the first thing she's see. He towered over her, peering down at her through wide, bloodshot, cross-eyed eyes. He had a brainless and moronic look on his face. His teeth were gaped and crooked, and not to mention, completely yellow. In a one-on-one fight with him, she was out of luck, in every way possible besides brains. She turned around, and bolted. She ran for her life, not even worrying about whether or not she was quiet. She felt the wind hitting her face, and her hair billowing out behind her. She panted, she never had been that fast, but she made up for it in strategy. She quickly thought of her surroundings, coming up with a perfect plan for escape. She looked over her shoulder, and caught a glimpse of the man out of the corner of her eye. He was sprinting full speed in her direction, almost at her heels. She caught sight of a barrel a few feet in front of her, and leaped over it and kicked it backwards so it flew directly at him. She couldn't run any further, its either fight him or swim with the fishes. She faced him, bracing herself for him to attack. He grasped the trashcan and chucked it over her head and it landed with a splash in the sea behind her. He stomped over to her, grabbed her by the jacket collar, and lifted her slim body five feet above the deck. "LAST CHANCE. GET OFF BOAT OR ME SMASH YOU." She looked him directly in the eye, since she was now around his height. She smirked and spit on his cheek. He dropped her and wiped off the saliva with disgust. He glared at her and took a swing, narrowly missing her. Kaminari lunged at him, clocking him square in the face. After he was dazed and caught off guard, she elbowed him in the stomach and nailed him in the balls. He grunted in pain and she took the opportunity to upper-cut him and kick him in the shin. He punched her in the cheek, and man did that hurt. That would leave a mark. She stepped back and ran into the dead end cement wall. The man sprinted forwards, grabbing her neck and chocking her roughly. She gasped for air and tried her best to pry his manly hands off of her throat, but it didn't help much. She felt her face becoming flushed and his grip on her got tighter and rougher by the second. She closed her eyes and thought of ways to get out of this. His gigantic body was too far away to kick or punch correctly, and she was out of air, so her song was out of reach. She opened her eyes and simultaneously reached in her leather jacket and pulled out the silver switchblade with a black handle. She held it to his throat and said unpleasantly, "Any last words? His facial expression was still the same as always, expressionless and thick-headed. Only one thing about him changed, and that was his grip. It didn't loosen, but instead he pushed up harder, causing her to grimace in pain. Kaminari started feeling light-headed and pressed the deadly weapon to his throat, and trickles of blood ran down the blade and dried on her hand. She wasn't killing him, but if she had to, she would. He wouldn't stop, and she couldn't take it much longer, it was time to end it. She was prepared and ready to kill, but by the time her arm muscles were ready themselves, a low whistle sounded and she smirked. "Figures he'd butt in right when it's just getting good." She jammed him forwards with all her might and strength (not much...) and ducked under his reaching hands. "Till we meet again." She proclaimed, and began to sing. He had a look of confusion, which on him, looked similar to his regular dumb-founded look. She continued her sweet song, and watched as his eyes began to droop and go heavy. She sang with a soft melody, a similar song to the killing melody, but different effects. She counted to five and his body grew weak and he fell to the ground, snoring loudly and breathing heavily. She kicked him in the stomach once more, for the bruise and cut he left on her cheek, that she would have to deal with in the morning. She leaped on the side railing (made of thick wood), keeping a steady balance and scurrying to the spot where the dock lay. She jumped off the railing onto the fragile dock and waited, hoping that Connor was in fact safe, not like it mattered much anyways, they had just met not even an hour ago, she didn't know him, he didn't know her. But somehow, they were in this together. She lay on the dock about a football fields distance away from the boat and watched the stars, lighting up another cig and puff-puffing away, till she heard Connor come up. He dropped a duffel bag in her lap, but that wasn't where her attention was focused. She sat up, looking his injuries over with a look of clear worry. He had a busted lip and a bleeding arm that had bled through his hoodie. She stood up and rolled up the hoodie sleeve and gasped, looking at him with shame. "I'm so sorry that you got injured. Does it hurt a lot? Are you okay? Poor baby." She felt bad for dragging him along on this selfish trip with her, while he could be home sleeping. All of her usual sarcasticness and attitude was drained from her voice as she spoke to him and she grabbed the switchblade and a piece of her tank top, and starting cutting a thin strand off, and putting the knife back in her pocket. She took the ripped cloth and wrapped it around the wound, tying it off and pulling his sleeve back down. She reached down and picked up the bag, peering inside and slinging it over her shoulder. "Let's go, kid. Only a few more stops." She had a playful tone to her voice, and she took another hit off her stogie, blowing an 'O' shaped smoke ring in the air next to him.

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Connor Kenway Sun Mar 24, 2013 1:26 am

Kaminari stood up silently when he arrived, and she gave him an apologetic look and began rolling up the sleeve of his hoodie. Connor sighed in exasperation as she observed his wounds. He kept his gaze directed to the side, due to slight embarrassment. He occasionally took a fleeting glace at what she was doing. "It-it's really no big deal, it's just a shallow cut so it will heal quickly, it didn't really hurt because of the adrenaline, but I'll definitely feel it tomorrow--Gods woman, have you had that blade on you the entire freaking time? Do you always carry that with you, or was tonight just a coincidence--oh stop, don't ruin your shirt now!" Connor couldn't help but shake his head at the way she acted. "Honestly, you're worse than my mother ever was." When Kaminari was done wrapping his wound, he flexed his arm as if testing out the bindings. "That was unneccessary. But thank you," Kaminari then retrieved the duffel bag from its position on the ground and slung it over her shoulder. "Let's go, kid. Only a few more stops." She had said lightheartedly, and turned to walk away, but Connor had noticed something and grabbed her arm gently. He walked in front of her and looked her straight in the face, his lips parting slightly and his brow furrowing in shock as he saw her injury. The skin was starting to bruise a nondescript shade, and it had even broken from the force of the blow. Connor sighed and then clenched his jaw, slightly agitated. Gesturing to her cheek, he said, "Is this all worth it, Kaminari? We both got injured, yet you seem unfazed by all of it, and we've still more to do?" He let his hand drop limply to his side. "Don't get me wrong, I'll go through with whatever we have to do next... but is this something you do on a regular basis? You know, you could get hurt even worse than this, or killed one of these days." Okay, so maybe he overreacted a bit at seeing her face, but the words he spoke of were true. Connor really didn't care if she yelled at him in reaction, he felt he had to at least tell her his thoughts.

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Kaminari Saito Sun Mar 24, 2013 1:48 am

Kaminari looked him directly in the eye and sighed. She felt her face, shocked at the roughness and sensitivity of the wound. She was shocked at his words, he had been so strict and straight forwards, which had been unlike him up until now. She ran her fingers through her hair, brushing it out of any knots and feeling for split ends. She walked up to him and glared at him, "You don't NEED to come along. It's your own free will. I'm not your responsibility to worry about, you don't know me. Screw this, if you don't wanna come. Don't. I'm fine on my own." She held there for a second or two more, turned on her boot heels and walked away. She flicked her cigarette ashes on the dock plank and took another hit, the smoke blowing back in her face and trailing off behind her. She didn't wait to see if he'd follow, call her name, or any of the above, she just walked away. It was simple.

(OOC; sorry its short.)

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Connor Kenway Sun Mar 24, 2013 2:17 am

Kaminari turned on her heel, her blonde hair swishing behind her with every step she took, and small plumes of smoke occasionally drifting from her retreating form. Connor cocked his head to the side, for he was slightly confused. Not at her words; but the truth in them. He had no idea why he wasn't even here, or why he was doing all this. There didn't seem to be any reason for him to linger and go through with any fruther actions, yet he remained. Without a word, Connor stuffed his hands into his pockets and walked briskly until he was near her side. In a low, monotone voice he began to speak."You're right. I don't know anything about you, other than your name. I don't know why I'm here, and it would be so much easier, and more comfortable, to just walk away. But what I do know is that so far, you've proven to be an interesting person, and like anyone else, I don't want to see you get hurt. And the rush of all of this is kind of fun compared to what my usual activities at 4 A.M are. Fun in a sick, twisted, and incredibly dangerous way. Therefore, I am staying." Connor concluded, nodding his head to emphasize the last word. Connor looked down at Kaminari. "So, what is it that we have to do next?"

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Kaminari Saito Sun Mar 24, 2013 2:52 am

She heard him coming up behind her, and she let out a tiny smile. "We're going to sell this." She jiggled the bag that was slung around her right shoulder. It was continuously bumping against her hip bone and she would hear the sound of bags and paraphernalia rubbing against each other. "And what's a perfect place to do that, but a wild rich adolescents yacht party?" She knew that she must have sounded hysterical, but naive sixteen and seventeen year were the perfect costumers, especially the wealthy ones. "I just so happen to know a party not even a ten minute way away." She flicked her cigarette on the ground and glanced at Connor. "Maybe they have a first-aid kit somewhere so I can fix your arm up properly." She looked down at the bag, opening it carefully and peering inside. Her eyes widened, for this was her first time getting a good look at it. Inside were bushels and bushels of 'herbs', probably a thousand dollars worth, but to her, priceless. She smiled and closed it again. "This will be an interesting night." Kaminari looked down at herself, fixing her outfit and appearance up a little bit while walking. She got a comb out of one of the many jacket pockets and brushed her hair once through, and put it back inside. The ripped cloth out of her tank top wasn't visible, her jacket covered it perfectly. She smelt like vanilla despite the fact of being in the ocean, fighting, and running so much. She checked her eye-makeup in the water reflection as they neared the party. Music could be heard from a mile away, and Kaminari sighed. Here we go again, more trouble. She delicately pulled her hair into a messy ponytail, the only one she can do, and it the wavy pony cascaded down her back, and for a ponytail it was very long. Her eye-makeup was smeared--she liked to call it 'smokey'--and she was dressed in such a 'dark' way. Perfect party attire. She faced Connor, eyeing him down simply. He was quite attractive, at the least, but he didn't really look young. Kaminari scrunched up her nose and licked her lips, thinking deeply on how to make him look seventeen. She snickered slightly, still studying him carefully.

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Connor Kenway Sun Mar 24, 2013 3:15 am

Connor waved her off with his hand indifferently and shrugged. "Oh, that's really not neccessary, you don't have to take care of me. I'm sure my arm is fine." How Kaminari knew of a party nearby, Connor did not care to ask, but it didn't surprise him. You have to expect the unexpected with this girl. Kaminari opened the duffel bag, revealing its contents, and Connor raised his eyebrow and let out a low whistle. "Jesus," he commented dryly. Kaminari then proceeded to fix herself up, and Connor was surprised at how she was able to maintain such a lovely appearance after all the shit they had gone through. She had thrown her blonde waves up, and her makeup was done like that of many other teenage girls; it was the ideal party appearance. Connor, on the other hand... He grimaced slightly as he looked down at himself; his hoodie's arm was bloodstained, and wrinkles were common on his clothing. Kaminari turned to him and looked him up and down, obviously trying to figure out what they were going to do with him. "I know, it's hopeless. I work as a bartender; I'm used to serving teenagers drinks, not trying to pass as one of them." Connor then smirked and quirked an eyebrow, teasing Kaminari, "Like what you see? I know I'm beautiful and everything, but I still don't know how I'm going to pass as being 5-6 years younger. I guess I could throw my hood up, but that's just sketchy, and everyone knows that kids with their hoods up are often the ones who sell drugs--oh wait, that is me." Connor laughed dryly before nervously fidgeting with his ponytail. "I mean, if we absolutely had to, I could take out my hair tie. I used to wear my hair down when I was younger, but it's really fucking annoying, getting into my eyes and shit like that. I don't know how you girls can stand your hair down all day."

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Kaminari Saito Sun Mar 24, 2013 11:21 pm

Kaminari flashed him a dazzling smile. "That would be nice."She looked him in the eye while she reached behind his head and removed his hair tie, keeping it safely on her thin wrist. She was memorized by how gorgeous he looked with his hair down, it was a little on the short side, brunette, and straight. She played with his hair for a minute, fixing it up and taking strands and returning them to the ride spots on his head, re-positioning them. She had a fixed look on her face, she seemed to be deep in thought. She studied his face, thinking of other ways to make him seem younger. "Good enough." She grabbed his arm, careful not to touch his bandaged cut, and pulled him along side her. They stepped on a stable enough dock, and followed the wooden planks till they found the party-yacht, which seemed to vibrate because of the loud bass music. She glanced at him, still holding his arm--now his wrist--and entered the massive boat with certainty that they'd find exactly the type of people inside that they were looking for. Once they stepped foot in the party, or a better word for it was rave, Kaminari knew that she was going to have a 'blast'. Young hormonal bodies were crammed together, grinding and sweating to the beat of the current headache prone song. They swung their hips to the beat, not giving her or Connor enough room to get passed. She clung to the wall, still dragging him by the wrist behind her, and made her way to the back of the yacht. The back rooms were the shit. That's where everything illegal and inappropriate was conducted. She smelt the herbs before she even saw them, a group of ten or eleven teenagers in a circle, ripping off a shitty can bong. Kaminari went and sat next to them, whispering words into the guys ear who happened to be next to her. She spoke in a clear, seductive voice and peered down at him while she talked. "See that boy standing up?Yeah, him. He has the best stuff. Makes you loopy, gives you a perfect high, and even causes you to get turned on quick and easy." She let out a sexy laugh as she watched his leg shake as she spoke to him. "All you gotta do is buy." She watched as he looked up at Connor and back at her, glancing at her tits, which just so happened to be in his face, accidentally. "Do it...for me?" She gave him the puppy eyes, raising her eyebrows and playing with his hair as she talked to him. He nodded quickly, standing up and turning to Connor. Kaminari handed him the bag, behind her back to the kid wouldn't know that she had it. "How much for a gram?"He asked him, looking at Kaminari to see if the offer pleased her. She smirked, biting her bottom lip at the boy and nodding slowly. She gave Connor a look that said, 'rip him off' and tugged on Connor's hoodie.

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Post by Connor Kenway Mon Mar 25, 2013 12:09 am

Kaminari gave him a white smile before reaching behind his head to take out his hair tie. Connor never break eye contact with her; he didn't think he could, for her eyes were an interesting shade of green. In a moment, Connor felt his hair fall straight down to the sides of his face, and Kaminari placed his hair tie on her wrist. He felt her fingers gently rearranging the strands of hair to make him presentable; something that seemed impossible for him, but it was an easy task for Kaminari. She was distracted with messing with his hair, so Connor took the opportunity to really look at her face. Despite the bruise on her cheek, her skin seemed to be porcelain, with soft features. Her eyes were an evergreen color, and framed with dark lashes. As Kaminari looked at Connor again, he hastily directed his gaze elsewhere, but she didn't seem to notice. "Good enough." Connor then found himself being pulled by Kaminari, and he chuckled lightly. Soon enough, they arrived at the party yacht, and the surface beneath their feet seemed to be shaking due to the intensity of the music. Teenage girls with little self respect were scantily clad and pushing their bodies against each other, swaying with the thumping bass. Connor scrunched his nose in distaste, and leaned over to Kaminari. "Let's get out of here as quick as we can. This place reminds me too much of work." Kaminari kept close to the wall, and eventually they found themselves in a backroom full of kids smoking from a bong. Connor instinctively turned his head away from the vomit-inducing odor, but leaned against the wall behind him and observed Kaminari. She made her way over to the circle of teenagers, seating herself among them. His eyebrow quirked as he saw she was using seduction to entice the boy. The boy she was talking to glanced up at him, and Connor retained a composed expression. Connor's jaw clenched as the boy's gaze lingered a little too long at Kaminari's chest, but he watched with slight amusement as Kaminari batted her eyelashes at the boy and played with his hair. Kaminari and the boy made their way over to them, and she discreetly handed him the bag, hidden from the boy's view. The kid looked at Connor and asked him, "How much for a gram?" Kaminari smirked at the boy and bit her lip seductively, and Connor cleared his voice before speaking in a low tone. "Two-hundred." Connor straightened his back and raised his chin slightly, giving the kid a glare that basically said If you try to bargain with me I'll fucking kill you.The kids' eyes widened in disbelief, but a look at Kaminari seemed to make him reconsider it. He nodded and pursed his lips, reaching into his back pocket and pulling out a roll of cash. He took out the appropriate amount and pressed it into Connor's hand, and then Connor handed him his purchase. The kid sloppily grinned at the herbs, and Connor slung the bag over his shoulder once more , resuming his position.

Sleepless Night (Connor) Empty Re: Sleepless Night (Connor)

Kaminari was pleasantly surprised when the boy handed Connor the money, for one gram would usually cost around thirty collars. Figures, inexperienced teenagers were naive and stupid nowadays. She pushed on, stepping over kids' feet and legs to get father into the back rooms. Opening one door to the right, she barged in on a freaky threesome. Her eyes widened and she slammed the door in a hurry. She opened the next door on the left and there inside was an empty room with no furniture and no one inside. She closed the door. She continued down the long strip of hallway, until she finally stopped at a brown door with smoke billowing out from underneath. She turned towards Connor, smiling a bit and opening the door. She was instantly hit with a wall of smoke, and she coughed from the intense fragrance. Kaminari opened her eyes barely and looked around at the variety of people in the room. There was two girls and three guys, all lounging back and laying on the floor and bed. They were passing a joint and giggling hysterically for minutes on end, for no reason at all. She shot Connor a look and gracefully pranced farther into the room, stopping only when she was close enough to the teenagers to see the whites--or should I say reds--of their eyes. "Ya'll need any more trees? I'm loaded." She spoke and they laughed in response. "No one can ever get enough weed." One guy with blonde hair replied, chuckling at his retort. "How much ya got?"Another blonde guy asked, standing up shakily and falling over a table to get to her. "As much as your little heart desires."She replied, smiling softly at the boy. "What if my heart desires something...else?"He asked, checking her out with his almond eyes. She grunted, "Well, your out of luck."She flicked a strand of hair out of her eyes, and balled her fists up at her side. "Come on, baby. Just a little kiss." He stepped into her comfort zone and grabbed her by the chin, guiding her face towards his and planting a big, sloppy, wet one right on her soft lips.
